About the Author

Kamal Meattle is the CEO of Paharpur Business Centre – an SME that provides air pollution solutions. He has founded various NGOs like Save the Tree Organization and Nehru Place Greens Society. Meattle is a trustee of The Climate Reality Project founded by Nobel Laureate Al Gore. In 2005, he was awarded the Bharat Nirman Social Responsibility Award.

Barun Aggarwal is a serial entrepreneur with rich international experience across several business verticals, spread over continents; Barun Aggarwal is the head as well as the heart behind BreatheEasy Consultants Pvt Ltd.

Barun actively engages in creating awareness campaigns on the climate crisis and in disseminating the message of environment stewardship, especially amongst school children. He has also co-founded an NGO, “Care for Air” to help create awareness about air pollution and health hazards associated with it. 

Barun is a member of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) and Indian Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ISHRAE) & task force member of ISHRAE COVID-19 Guidance Document. He is a member of the first Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) Committee that has published the first standard in the world related to IEQ. 

He has been trained as a Climate Change Leader by Nobel Laureate, Mr. Al Gore, former US Vice-President and the founder of The Climate Reality Project (TCRP).
